We start in the morning direction Pitigliano via a detour to Magliano in Toscana. We visit the tuff-built cities of Pitigliano, Sovana and Sorano, whose yellow shimmering white wines are very popular. Here we are provided with Sfratto, the delicious, previously only at Christmas time baked by the large Jewish population delicious oil bread. In general, if you like, you immerse yourself in the history of Jewish customs in these three cities. The 16th-century synagogue in the historic center of Pitigliano has a cellar, where there is space for the Mikve, a bakery, a kosher butcher’s shop and a kosher wine cellar. Here are more suggestions on what to do locally.

After a snack, we head to Saturnia for a relaxing afternoon in the springs. From there, we will finally head to Scansano to taste the specialties of the next large Maremma wine-growing region, the Morellino di Scansano.

We conclude the afternoon in Grosseto, where we treat ourselves to a dinner in the Locanda di Medici. Before eating, we can experience the hustle and bustle in the pedestrian area with many chic boutiques, visit the cathedral in the piazza or circumnavigate the city on the city wall.
