Saturnia – Natural SPA – 37 Celcius for your health

From the thermal spring, 500 liters of sulphurous water, 37 degrees Celsius, flows from the slopes of Monte Amiata every second. There, the rainwater collects in about 200 m depth and accumulates with sulfur. The water reaches the surface after 30 kilometers in Saturnia and flows through the Cascate del Mulino. Bathing in the naturally created sinter pools is free. In addition, there is also a spa center with facilities (including a swimming pool of the luxury hotel Terme di Saturnia) for various cures and therapies. It is the fee-based luxurious spa and wellness center in town. Here you can be pampered! Other attractions in Saturnia include the Bagno Secco thermal bath ruins, the Chiesa di Santa Maria Maddalena church of Romanesque origin or the ancient Roman city gate Porta Romana.
